A fantastic visit to the Cornwall Air Ambulance helipad base at Newquay airport today with some members of the Launceston Road Runners Committee. Over the course of 2019 Launceston Road Runners raised £750 – we held raffles back at our quiz night in June and at our recent 30/30 celebration, but the main chunk of this was raised at the Treggy 7 cake stall 😊 🍰 (no big surprise 😋!).
A massive thank you to all our members and family and friends for your generosity for such a worthwhile cause. We all know someone who has needed these flying heroes at some time – they really are saving lives on a daily basis, often putting their own in danger.
