Alan Littlejohns joined Launceston Road Runners in in January 2002 and has completed 700 races as a Launceston Road Runner – 130 Marathons, 106 half marathons, 500 various runs and challenges and 250 parkruns. Alan achieved marathon PB of 3 hours, 12 minutes and a half marathon PB of 1 hour, 28 minutes during his time with LRR. He completed the infamously tough Cornish Marathon 27 times, The Grizzly 15 times and the Dartmoor Discovery 12 times!Alan has run in races all over the world, wearing his Launceston Road Runners vest with pride and has run marathons in :Athens (twice)BerlinParisAmsterdamCopenhagenMalta twiceBarbadosLausanne SwitzerlandDublinIOWCyprusMajorcaPragueHonolulu, HawalAnd … of course the London Marathon – ten times!As he hangs up his running shoes after 20 years with the club, Alan said “I have really enjoyed my time at the club and wanted to thank everyone for the great memories I have of my time with Launceston Road Runners.”
